Hello! My name is Ryan Sweeney and the purpose of this site is to serve as a hub for all of my various projects, both personal and professional. I currently work at Ignite Social Media as the Director of Analytics* where I lead a team of social media analysts, compile social media reports, develop client strategies, pitch new business, and prove business results. You can read my social media related posts at the Ignite Social Media blog. I also volunteer at WHUP, a community radio station in Hillsborough North Carolina, as a DJ and co-host a show called Global Garage that features rock & rock-tangential music from around the globe in addition to hosting interviews and guest playlists. In 2023 I launched a podcast spin-off from Global Garage called Let’s Make A Mixtape. Let’s Make A Mixtape is a conversation podcast that runs in seasons during which I talk to a different guest about their song selection for the season prompt. I also play bass in the sludge metal band Doomsday Profit.
